While Japanese game developer Square Enix has yet to confirm the reports that a new trailer for the crossover role-playing game “Kingdom Hearts 3” will come out at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center next month, reports are rife that the chance of it happening is very high.
According to sources, Square Enix is busy finalizing the latest trailer for “Kingdom Hearts 3” to be released at the E3 2016 which shall introduce the new characters possibly from the different Disney worlds as well as gameplay highlights to gamers and critics, reports the University Herald.
While no specifics have been officially released or announced regarding the latest trailer of the game, fans are speculating that it would likely feature game protagonists Sora, Donald, and Goofy bumping into new characters from the other Disney worlds including “Big Hero 6,” “Hercules,” and “Tangled.”
Although the chance of the latest trailer of “Kingdom Hearts 3” coming out next month is high, its release date on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 is still uncertain for next year.
Square Enix is set to release in September this year its other popular role-playing game “Final Fantasy XV” so the earliest that “Kingdom Hearts 3” could come out is next year although nothing has been officially stated yet by the Japanese game developer.
Fans and gamers are hoping that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will finally get released next year since it has been announced as early as 2013.
Making up for the delayed release of the game
In order to make up for the delayed release of “Kingdom Hearts 3” on the gaming consoles, Square Enix has released the mobile game “Kingdom Hearts Unchained X” in April and scheduled the release of the remastered version of “Kingdom Hearts 2″ later this year, notes Mobile & Apps.
In an interview last year, game director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that “Tangled” shall be featured in “Kingdom Hearts 3.”
He said back then that the hair of Rapunzel in “Tangled” is so unique that they wanted to make sure that they can realize the vision before they show it to gamers.
There were speculations that “Frozen” might also be featured in the game but Nomura has yet to confirm or deny it then and until this time.
Not going to happen at the E3 2016
Amid the reports that Square Enix is now busy preparing for the release of the latest trailer for the highly-anticipated game, there are speculations saying that it seems unlikely to happen.
Some reports seem to have shut down notions that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be launched at E3 2016. The dissenting word came from Jakejames Lugo, Senior Editor of The Koalition, a group of gaming enthusiasts. He said that previous reports about the “Kingdom Hearts 3” coming out at the E3 2016 is not accurate at all and told fans that they have to wait a little longer before the game is officially unveiled.
While Lugo did not say any specific date as to the possible launching of “Kingdom Hearts 3” other than the E3 2016, he did not dispute the fact that the game would be released early next year.
Square Enix has already scheduled a Kingdom Hearts Orchestra world tour from March 10 to June 24 next year, which somehow lends credence to the previous reports that the game would officially make it to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One early next year.
It is no use having a world tour for the game if it has not been released yet on the gaming consoles so it is likely that “Kingdom Hearts 3” would come out before March 10, 2017.
