Jurassic World 2 Set to Release in 2018! Sequel Promises to be More Thrilling and Suspense-Filled Than Before!

While it is not possible to see Dinosaurs in the flesh, Jurassic World has made that possible for the fans with their incredible animations and beautiful visuals. The second instalment of the movie releases in 2018 and every animation movie fanatic who loved the concept of the first instalment is super excited about its release.

Director Colin Trevorrow is no longer working on the sequel, but is presently helping write the plot for the sequel along with co-producing the same with Steven Spielberg. Director J.A. Bayona is expected to helm Jurassic World 2, and this is his first project after The Orphanage, which released back in 2007.

Trevorrow has been leaving behind snippets about the sequel time to time. In a recent podcast about Jurassic World 2, Trevorrow hinted at the sequel including concepts and themes based on the original novel, Jurassic Park, written by Michael Crichton.

He further said that he likes the concept of a mistake that can’t be undone and that is exactly what he wants the sequel to portray. He wants the audience to witness the aftermath of the dinosaur cloning and the results that follow the apparent mistake.

Trevorrow further stated that he wants the audience to feel the thrill while they watch the movie, and what better way than to take up ideas from the source. Right? The sequel does not feature a ‘militarized’ dinosaur since that is way too mainstream.

A Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum reunion was probably the very first thing that every Jurassic Park lover thought of when the news about Jurassic World sequel was teased. But with the present projects, it looks like that’s not going to happen anytime soon.

Sam Neill was spotted on the sets of Thor: Ragnarok and is ready to comment filming for a small role in the Marvel series. Jeff Goldblum, on the other hand, is busy with his role in the same Marvel movie as the Grandmaster, and that’s the only reunion that the fans are getting.

When Sam Neill was asked about a possible return to the Jurassic World franchise, he was very straightforward with his answer about the comeback. He stated that the world has no idea where Alan Grant, the palaeontologist is.

While Sam Neill only commented on Alan Grant and his possible fate, it looks like there is a different side to the story. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that no one from the crew has reached out to the actor about his possible return to the sequel yet.

The sequel, which is set to release in June 2018, is set to feature Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas in their lead roles and the fans are elated and excited about it.

On a different note, the character of Zach Mitchell and Gray Mitchell is set to make a comeback in the second instalment and Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins are rumoured to be portraying the roles.
