Since last month, talks have been going around on which Disney character or characters will be featured in the upcoming crossover action role-playing game “Kingdom Hearts 3” which is expected to be launched in November this year at the D23 expo in Japan before its subsequent release to the next generation gaming consoles early next year.
However, “Kingdom Hearts 3” is a Square Enix franchise and in addition to its routine of featuring Disney characters to join Sora, Mickey, Donald and Goofy in the game, the developer also occasionally inserts characters from the “Final Fantasy” series.
Now, in addition to waiting on who will be the next Disney character or characters that will come into “Kingdom Hearts 3,” most gamers are now anticipating and second-guessing who will be next character or characters from the “Final Fantasy” video game series who will cross over to the upcoming role-playing game.
What Culture actually identified 10 possible characters from the “Final Fantasy” video game series who may enter into the realm of “Kingdom Hearts 3.” These include Chocobos from “Final Fantasy II,” Jecht from “Final Fantasy X,” Cecil from “Final Fantasy IV,” Sazh from “Final Fantasy XIII,” Balthier from “Final Fantasy XII,” Rinoa from “Final Fantasy VIII,” Red VIII from “Final Fantasy VII,” Zidane from “Final Fantasy IX,” Gilgamesh from “Final Fantasy V,” and Kefka from “Final Fantasy VI.”
Regardless of who will it be, any character addition or additions from the “Final Fantasy” series would be a welcome development for gamers of “Kingdom Hearts 3,” as much as they are excited on who shall be the next Disney character of characters who will come to the game and join Sora and the gang in their quests.
A regular fixture
It has almost been a traditon for Square Enix to introduce and include a Disney character or characters on its “Kingdom Hearts” franchise which originally featured the classic Disney characters Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they join Sora in his quests.
With the upcoming release of the third installment of the “Kingdom Hearts” video game franchise on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, speculations have been going around particularly among fans and gamers on who the next Disney character or characters will be featured on “Kingdom Hearts 3.”
There were previous reports that the Disney characters who may be included in “Kingdom Hearts 3” are Captain America from Marvel, Darth Vader from the “Star Wars” franchise, and Queen Elsa from the most successful Disney animated film of all time “Frozen.”
Another set of reports indicate that the Disney characters who may be included in the latest iteration of the “Kingdom Hearts” video game franchise will be a Elsa from “Frozen,” the princess in “Tangled,” and any or a few characters from “Big Hero 6.”
All these however are mere speculations as Square Enix has yet to make an announcement to either confirm or deny these initial reports. And neither does Disney too. Although one thing is sure though, Square Enix will include at least one new Disney character in “Kingdom Hearts 3.”
