The huge amount of rumors that surrounded “Frozen 2” leading up to its official announcement probably felt quite annoying to fans, as there was a huge deal of uncertainty about the movie and many people weren’t even sure if it’s coming or not. Some people close to the production let some information slip at a few points, but for the most part they managed to keep their work under wraps and didn’t spoil the surprise until they were ready to reveal it.
Now that we know the film is coming, the rumors of course haven’t stopped. If anything, fans are speculating on even more points now, claiming that the new film should expand on certain aspects of the original’s story, and that there is a definite need for additional growth in some characters. According to some vague hints, Anna will be all about showing the power of love and what can be achieved through it. Which, of course, is definitely not a bad idea.

Olaf could also have a more prominent role in the film, possibly getting involved in a love story of his own. We don’t know the exact details of that right now, but it sounds like something that could expand the story in a nice way. Some fans have found the idea adorable and have been very positively charged about it, so the producers should definitely give it a try even if they haven’t actually been considering it. The character could really use a bit more depth.
