The millions of fans who are looking forward to the showing of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” on March 24, 2016 are still waiting for the official teaser trailer of the movie which has been keeping them in great anticipation.
Early in January, there were speculations that the first official trailer of the movie will be released during Super Bowl 2015 on February 1 but that did not materialize.
There were also subsequent reports after the Super Bowl 2015 that the teaser trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” would likely come out in time for the release of the movie “Jupiter Ascending” on February 6 but that too, did not materialize.
Warner Bros no longer has the opportunity to show the official film trailer in March or April assuming it lets February pass by. However, it has two options in May to do it. The first one is the showing of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on May 1, 2015, and the second, the showing of “Mad Max: Fury Road” on May 15, 2015.
If the company still does not do it in May, then it is very likely that the official trailer will come out during the Comic Con International 2015 to be held in July.
In place of the trailer
Instead of the official teaser trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” Director Zack Snyder instead posted a photo of him on Instagram while obviously being on the set of the movie.
It was just a simple photo really of a director who seems to be plotting the next scene to be filmed in the movie.
The photo also gives the impression of how the Wayne Manor or Mansion would look like in the film either during the fight between Superman and his battle with Zod and his armies or the battle between Batman and Superman.
Tech Times could not exactly be certain that it is the Wayne Manor in the backdrop of Snyder’s photo as it could mean a different location entirely.
Snyder’s Instagram photo was in no way impressive but it was more than enough to further whet the appetites of fans about the movie. It’s also not a cryptic post but only shows that the director is busy at post-production work.
Fifth photo release
The latest picture of Director Zack Snyder on Instagram is actually the fifth photo he himself released to be able to promote the movie since December 2014.
The initial photos that were released by Snyder on his Instagram account include that of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and another of Batman standing beside the batmobile.
More than the image itself on Instagram, what was more important to movie fans is seeing Zack Snyder releasing a new content for the 2016 release of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
Or it could be a sign that Warner Bros might already be prepared to release the first public showing of the movie’s official trailer. Movie fans have long been waiting for the trailer of the movie with almost bated breath.

Once again DC/Warner have completely missed the point. Today another master stroke by Marvel in acquiring Spiderman. Not wasting a single minute, but immediately adjusting all existing plans and stating on record the future plans involving Spiderman.
DC/Warner are playing catch-up with Marvel. So the method they’ve come up with is to give patiently waiting fans, nothing at all. The fact that their last comic book movie was Man of Steel in June 2013, shows you how they have a total disregard for their fanbase.
I was glad to read Jupiter Ascending majorly bombed. Do you know what would have ensured that it didn’t? Showing the BvS teaser. Or at least officially release the comic con teaser, that would have been enough, but no let them play it their way, it’s worked dividends so far!
The film is a year away. There is a such thing as too early, y’know. They aren’t playing catch up because they have no reason to compete.
