We finally have some good news for the fans of Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia – the upcoming title – as Bethesda Softworks is rumored to have revealed the final release date for the title. Argonia was announced back in September this year at EGX 2014. According to the initial reports, Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia, is based on Black Marsh.
It’s been ten years since the first Elder Scrolls title released, and fans have been waiting desperately for the next title. Bethesda is yet to work on the late-stage development plans, even though the company has stated March 2016 as the probable release date for now. A report published on the Tehran Chronicle said that Bethesda has not just confirmed the release date of the game, but has also started working towards the development.
This might come as a surprise for many as the situation here is rather surprising. When most game developers are keeping their upcoming titles in the dark, Bethesda has released all information two years in advance! However, the fans are not complaining!
Bethesda Softworks is responsible for creating half the fantasy RPG that we currently have, from Skyrim to Doom and Wolfenstein, etc. The digital studios wooed fans with Skyrim and fans are hoping that Argonia manages to emulate the success story. Cyberland reported that Bethesda revealed a few details regarding the title behind closed doors at EGX 2014, the details of which are currently unknown.
The Elder Scrolls is one of Bethesda’s most celebrated series, and at least three titles have won the best game of the year awards, back in the day. Fans are hoping that the makers draw inspiration from the open world scenario of Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind and create something on similar lines. However, to what extent they can emulate the gameplay is yet to be seen.
Numerous suggestions have popped up since the makers announced Elder Scrolls 6 and some of the most popular stories claim that numerous additions will be made to the game, including the maps, journals, dungeons and quests.
The general idea is to make the gameplay more interactive, in order to attract and retain the attention of the gamers.
It is important to incorporate shops into the game, not just within towns, but the outskirts too and in random places. These shops are also slated to have their individual icons. Gold is expected to be harder to find at night in Elder Scrolls 3: Argonia while traps set inside dungeons will decrease the health of our protagonist.
These are some of the general upgrades that are currently expected on the title. However, the authenticity of these claims is difficult to ascertain at the moment. Bethesda has been contacted, although, a positive reply is awaited.
