Developer to Debut ‘Star Wars: Battlefront 3’ Gameplay Trailer at E3 2015

Game developer EA Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE) has already released a flashy computer-generated trailer of the upcoming first-person shooter video game “Star Wars: Battlefront 3” but it has yet to unravel a gameplay trailer.

The time has come to do it as it has been confirmed that DICE will launch the gameplay trailer of its highly-anticipated video game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 to be held in Los Angeles, California this coming week, cites Gamespot.

The game is actually the third in a series of similarly-titled video games that is why it is being referred to by gamers as “Star Wars: Battlefront 3.” In reality however, the game’s official title is “Star Wars: Battlefront” and it is technically different from the first two video games.

“Star Wars: Battlefront 3” will be hitting the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One as well as the PC on November 17.

Although the game is not directly based on the upcoming movie “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Star Wars: Battlefront 3” will focus on the film because DICE would be using the Frostbite 3 engine using general themes, characters, and props.

Game locations

As sort of tease to the launching of its gameplay footage, the developer has also released a new image of “Star Wars: Battlefront 3” showing a band of rebels firing their weapons in what appears to be the ice planet of Hoth.

The image description states that the location is no longer a secret, confirming previous reports that the video game will have Hoth as one of the confirmed planets for its location including Endor, Tatooine, and Sullust.

“Star Wars: Battlefront 3” will also have 12 multiplayer maps spread across the four planets and shall be available upon launch.

Reports also have it that the game will have a free DLC based on “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” movie which will come simultaneous with the release of the film.

Customization option

The developer recently shared the details of the customization and graphics of the game which are currently being created by the development team of “Star Wars: Battlefront” based primarily on the Star Wars universe.

The customization option of the game will extend most of the features of “Star Wars: Battlefront” including various character heads, loadouts, emotes, bikes, and weapons.

Apparently, the developer will be using the technology called Physical Based Rendering which allows the developers to render elements in the game with grounding on physical properties and laws.

  1. well it sounds like DICE has gone and ruined an amazing franchise. FPS gameplay, no large-scale destruction? The large-scale battles along with the third person view are what made BF2 such an amazing game. I was excited to hear about the game until I read that DICE was doing it, I knew they were just going to turn BATTLEFRONT into BATTLEFIELD: STAR WARS EDITION. If they would just respect what made this series so great.

  2. Dice won’t destroy it Adam, and they have said there is large scale battles and building destruction and third person or first person and that it will be nothing like battlefield

  3. If they have an expansion pack that comes out the same day as the game, why not just include it in the game price? Are they seriously so greedy to have DLC from day one?

  4. I need to talk to the developer of this game i know that is hard to do so im posting this everywhere i have some really good ideas that i would really like to share with the developers
