Amid all the speculations as well as the to-and-fro reports that dance leader Abby Lee Miller shall no longer return for Season 6 of the American reality dance competition show “Dance Moms” on Lifetime, she is now almost confirmed for the upcoming season after having been spotted recently filming scenes.
It was reported previously that Miller is not interested in returning to Season 6 of “Dance Moms” and shall only talk about it when the network pays the arrears that were due to her.
Now it seems that everything is water under the bridge for Abby Lee as the network already dealt with payment issues involving her arrears. In fact, she was actually part of the network’s initiative during its recent search for new dancers to add to the cast and replace those who are leaving “Dance Moms,” notes News Everyday.
She also posted on her social media account images of young dancers who have been auditioning to become part of “Dance Moms” Season 6.
Noticeably present in the pictures were Sarah Hunt, Brynn Rumfallo, and Tea Adamson, who have served as guest dancers in the previous seasons of “Dance Moms.” Reports have it that Haley Vrolijk will also be taken in as a member of the cast as well.
Miller captioned her image posts by saying that there are just endless amounts of talents in the audition room so it would be a hard decision for her and the other judges on who will make it and who will not.
Many fans of the show believe that the recent audition was not meant to entice new dancers but for those dancers who have already been in the show in the past.
Auditioning in another show
“Dance Moms” Season 5 breakout star Maddie Ziegler has previously been reported as not returning to Season 6 of the dance competition reality TV show.
Ziegler has starred in two of Sia’s music videos – “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart” – and said that he would like to focus more on acting rather than dancing. In fact, she will be starring in Sia’s upcoming movie titled “Sister.”
However, latest reports now indicate that the 12-year-old girl wants to continue her dancing even as she expressed her desire to act on movies and scripted TV shows. But the dancing she was referring to may no longer be with “Dance Moms” as Maddie reportedly auditioned for the Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood 2015 list, cites the Vine Report.
She also posted her photo in her Instagram account and captioned it telling her fans to watch the cast of the Young Hollywood Portfolio during their audition tapes. She also gave a link showing her bio where she was seen doing pirouettes, dancing on tables, playing with a cake, and showing off her latest moves in her video audition clip.
It seems that the return of Maddie Ziegler will depend on her being accepted by Teen Vogue. So if she gets accepted, she will most likely give up “Dance Moms,” which appears to be her safety net at this time.
Uncertain to return
Another Season 5 cast member of “Dance Moms” who is still uncertain to return for the next season is Maddie’s younger sister Mackenzie.
But Kendall Vertes and Kalani Hiliker will most likely come back for Season 6 and given their progress during the past season, they will likely get more air time in the next season.
Contrary to rumors that she is planning to make a comeback in time for Season 6 of “Dance Moms,” Chloe Lukasiak says that she is happy with her current dance studio, Studio 19, and is not entertaining any notion of leaving anytime soon.
In a recent video shown at the Teen Choice Awards, Chloe gave an emotional speech about overcoming negativity and believing in herself, which was an indirect swipe at “Dance Moms” dance leader Abby Lee Miller for nearly taking the fight out of her in Season 4 of the reality show.
