Chris Pratt Praises ‘Jurassic World’ Director for Clear Vision for the Film!

The first “Jurassic Park” movie was a huge success when it was released in 1993 so it has set high expectations for its subsequent sequels.

Unfortunately the two sequels did not live up to par in terms of storyline and more importantly, box-office results.

After 22 years, a third sequel to the first “Jurassic Park” movie titled “Jurassic World” will hit theaters on June 12, 2015 featuring Chris Pratt in the lead role.

Joining Pratt in the latest of the dinosaur film are Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Ty Simpkins and Jake Johnson. “Jurassic World” is being helmed by Director Colin Trevorrow, who is foraying into his first ever major franchise in his directing career.

Chris Pratt only has praises for Trevorrow, who despite his limited or lack of experience in directing a franchise film, has that impressive clear vision for the movie.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star says that Colin Trevorrow has everything figured out before he starts filming scenes of “Jurassic World,” which is quite commendable.

Pratt says that the director has a forward-looking mindset and clear vision for the film. He added that such attribute of Trevorrow may probably be the reason why producer Steven Spielberg took chance on him and put into his hands the task of putting together a very good third sequel for the “Jurassic Park” franchise.

Hybrid dinosaurs in the storyline

Based on the official trailer of the film and also the available synopsis for “Jurassic World,” hybrid dinosaurs shall be featured in the movie and will become the new breed of killers in the film.

Accordingly, the hybrid dinosaurs were developed by the operators of “Jurassic World” dinosaur theme park to be able to give visitors a fresh set of attraction. After opening to a wide reception to thousands of visitors, “Jurassic World” has lost steam as an attraction and people simply became bored with the standard dinosaur sights and acts, details Venture Capital Post.

And as the plotline goes, one of the hybrid dinosaurs became untamable even by the park’s resident dinosaur whisperer played by Chris Pratt.

Known as the Indominus Rex, a variation and more ferocious version of the T-Rex, the hybrid dinosaur became the most fearsome beast in the park. So when the Indominus Rex got out of its enclosure, that’s where all the movie’s thrills and excitement began.

Seeks to redeem previous two sequels

“Jurassic World” seeks to redeem the first two sequels of the highly-successful “Jurassic Park.”

While many of the fans appear to be not in favor of a very delayed third sequel for the franchise, Chris Pratt explained that the idea behind “Jurassic World” is actually to reinforce the lessons learned from the first movie about dinosaurs.

The movie will still answer the age-old but theoretical question of what if men and dinosaurs co-exist in the same place.

Colin Trevorrow, who also wrote the screenplay for the movie , did a great job both in writing and directing “Jurassic World,” according to Pratt.

Amid some unfavorable opinions on the movie, “Jurassic World” is expected to draw in “Jurassic Park” fans in droves and also bring in the new breed of dinosaur-loving movie goers too.
