Cartoon HD has a new domain to offer free movies and TV shows on any device and it is aptly called CartoonHD.TV. The anonymous developers of the freeware app announced it on its Twitter account on April 24.
Some two days later, Cartoon HD was also looking for a server which shall host its new domain. One day later, it got its needed server and has since been encouraging users to share the good news about watching free movies and TV shows to their families and friends.
The Twitter page of Cartoon HD has been bustling and busy as a bee as of late. It even broached the idea to users that they can actually watch Live TV on any network worldwide from their PC and provided a Cartoon HD link for it to show them how.
On May 5, the developers of Cartoon HD has asked its followers to make #CartoonHD trending on Twitter so that they can help bring back the device as a regular mobile app the way it used to be.
It is not clear how the massive support can convince platform-operating companies to bring back Cartoon HD notwithstanding that the app is getting the heat from various film companies and TV networks since it is eating a good portion of their revenues.
Ensuring durability
The developers of Cartoon HD is banking on user downloads to ensure its longevity as one of the world’s most popular video streaming app.
Cartoon HD enables its users to instantly gain access to thousands of latest movies, TV shows, and cartoons for free. These videos can be seen right on the app so it is important for users to download it first before watching it. The good news is that they don’t have to sign in for any subscription because everything is free.
Developers of the Cartoon HD refer to it as watching one’s favorite media without strings attached.
In order to thrive however, developers of Cartoon HD have urged users to help out by opening their browsers and Googling Cartoon HD. Once CartoonHD.is, the app itself, appears, they just need to click on it and they have already done their good deed for the day.
In addition to having its own website, Cartoon HD has its social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook too where users can get updates on the latest movies or TV shows uploaded on the app or get information on the current tweaks, themes, and news on Cartoon HD.
Despite being removed from the Apple Store last year, the Cartoon HD app can still be installed and played on practically all Apple mobile devices.
But there’s a catch. It can only be installed and played on Apple devices that have not been jailbroken yet or taken on the Jailbreak program.
Cartoon HD used to be a free app on both the Apple Store and Google Play before it was unceremoniously taken down, which may have been the handiwork of film and TV production companies whose businesses have been greatly threatened by the free movie and TV show application.
