Pop singer Adam Lambert is sporting a new look these days and he has taken off a lot of the makeup and use the flat iron in the attic or his mane.
Apparently, the 33-year-old “American Idol” alum has switched fashion influences from glam divas to more traditional heartthrobs like Elvis Presley and James Dean, details Chicago Pride.com.
The change in his look is also part of the campaign for his third album titled “The Original High” because according to him, the trends are part of his job.
Lambert is admittedly gay but he is still one of the more good-looking singers today and he also knows it. In a recent interview, he said that he was asked to tone down on his looks but he said that he was not consciously doing that, he just shifted.
He said that he has to make adjustments based on what people like, adding that production and the way something sounds are very much like fashion, where people are gravitating toward something for a particular season or period.
Confirmed for ‘Live in the Vineyard’
Adam Lambert is also confirmed for the 16th installment of the “Live in the Vineyard” musical gig taking place at the Napa Valley winery boutique on November 5 to 8, notes Broadway World.
The event is shaping up to be the best yet with the recent announcement of some of the biggest names in music right now including Lambert, Leona Lewis, James Bay, A Great Big/Brave World, and Gavin James.
They will join previously announced artists including Rob Thomas, Barenaked Ladies, Nick Fradiani, Michael Franti, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, and For King & Country.
The music artists will be performing at the nightly concerts of the star-studded event to be held at the Uptown Theater, set amidst the lush scenery of boutique wineries in Napa Valley.
‘”Live in the Vineyard” is one of America’s most exclusive and sought after events and there have been previous reports that Wynonna & The Big/Brave Noise and American Authors will also perform during the private VIP gigs of the event.
Comeback in the UK
Adam Lambert is set to make a huge comeback in the UK on August 30 for the upcoming Fusion Festival. It will be Lambert’s first appearance in the very popular Fusion Festival.
Lambert has been on a tear recently after the successful launching of his third album which was officially released on June 21. He once again enjoyed global chart success with his latest album. It actually broke into the Top 10 in the UK charts.
The 33-year-old eccentric musician has been going on tour lately with the iconic rock band Queen. Because of the rapport that they have established, Lambert was officially chosen as the new frontman or lead singer for Queen alongside Brian May, filling the position that was left by the death of Freddie Mercury several years ago.
Lambert will play the Birmingham gig as a last-minute addition to the line-up which already includes McBusted, The Vamps, and Ed Sheeran. It will be the first solo performance for Adam on UK soil, just months after touring the world with Queen.
The Fusion Festival fell into a quagmire recently after pop superstar Justin Bieber pulled out just weeks before the event. But singer Ed Sheeran came to the rescue by agreeing to take the place of the “Baby” singer within just a matter of hours.
Ed Sheeran says that he is delighted to be playing at the Fusion Festival after stepping in the last minute to help out the guys at Fusion and support The Princes Trust.
The “Thinking Out Loud” singer says that the Birmingham crowds are always lively, so he can hardly wait to come back and perform before them.
The Fusion Festival will be held at the Birmingham’s Cofton Park on August 30. Other performers in the biggest pop event of summer in the UK include Tinie Tempah, Labrinth, Clean Bandit, and many more.
What do you mean that Adam is “admittedly gay” but still a good looking man? Being gay does not impact someone’s looks positively or negatively. Then you call Adam “eccentric”? Just what is eccentric about him? He happens to be a really nice, highly intelligent, well spoken professional. He is currently the best male vocalist in the entertainment business and he is movie star handsome. His orientation does not make him “eccentric”, nor does it make him less attractive. I do not believe that you intentionally meant to write offensive things, but next time think about the implications of what you are saying.
Adam Lambert has earned his well deserved fame & still is a genuinely appreciative, extremely personable, nice guy. I wouldn’t at all consider him to be eccentric, actually quite normal, altho’ on stage flamboyant and he knows how to work a stage. His tour with Queen was phenomenal, thrilling and first class. Freddie would have stood up, giving him a standing ovation. I thought his Trespassing album was brilliant & hope new fans will discover & savor it. Adam’s Original High album has so many great tracks, reminding me of Adele’s album that had so many winning , individual tracks. Adam’s vocal ability is thrilling to hear and he definitely has the looks to match!
Ditto… Barbara’s comments.
You don’t understand and you are ignorant of what is being said. What was meant was Adam is gay and admittedly very good looking. It is a gay persona and preconception. Just try to open your mind.
Adam is the whole package… GREAT voice. GREAT looks,Great personality this with a humble, thankful and kind character…
It’s no wonder that Millions around the world love him….
