“American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert and DJ Steve Aoki appear to be working on a new track together. While no official statement have been made by both or either of the two musicians, it seems that the series of photos that they recently shared on Instagram and videos on Twitter and Snapchat seem to indicate so.
It was actually Steve Aoki who sort of confirmed that they are working on a new track when he captioned one of his posts by saying that he and Adam Lambert are collaborating on a new track titled “Can’t Go Home.”
It was Aoki who made the announcement so it is likely that the new track will be part of his next album titled “Neon Future III,” notes Celebuzz.
Based on the photos shared by the two musicians on social media, it seems obvious that both Adam and Steve are having fun with their collaboration.
There was even an image showing Lambert taking a break from their hard work and meeting Lil Uzi, Aoki’s favorite puppy.
A busy year indeed
After a busy and round-about first month to start 2016 on a very high note, February is no different for Adam Lambert as the musician is all over the music scenes once again.
He is set to bring his “The Original High” tour to the Grand Theater inside the Foxwoods Resort Casino on February 26, which is part of the promotional support for his critically-acclaimed third studio released in June last year.
When Warner Bros Records released “The Original High” last year, it debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Album charts.
“The Original High” copped the No. 1 spot in Rolling Stone magazine’s ‘Reader’s Poll: Top 10 Best Albums of 2015’ and its carrier single “Ghost Town” landed at No. 2 on their ‘Reader’s Poll,’ notes The Middleton Press.
Lambert will hit the Grand Theater stage and will showcase his third critically-acclaimed studio album “The Original High” featuring his latest hits including “Whataya Want From Me,” and “Ghost Town.”
Foxwoods Resort Casino is the premier entertainment, gaming, shopping, and hotel destination in the Northeast.
The place is hosting a star-studded lineup of entertainment acts for the whole month of February and offering guests with a wide selection of entertainment including concerts from music sensation, hilarious stand-up comedies, and nail-biting Muay Thai fights that will have the audience on the edge of their seats.
The Grand Theater and the Fox Theater guarantee to take the entertainment experience to new heights with their top-of-the-line acoustics and dazzling lighting.
Hands are full
It is becoming clear even during the early goings of 2016 that pop singer Adam Lambert will have his hands full for the rest of the year.
Fresh from completing his commitment in rendering his music to the latest TV commercial of chocolate chip cookie Oreo, Adam Lambert has reportedly agreed to be part of a made-for-television remake of the 1975 film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”
Reports have it that the TV special will be aired on Fox in the fall of this year and Adam Lambert has signed on to the project to play the role of Eddie, a rock n roller who is always clad in a leather attire.
Meat Loaf once portrayed the role of Eddie during the 1975 film. Adam Lambert will be joining a stellar cast for the TV remake of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” including Victoria Justice, Reeve Carney, Staz Nair, Laverne Cox, and Ryan McCartan.
Victoria Justice and Ryan McCartan are to play the roles of Janet and Brad, respectively. Reeve Carney, who has become familiar on TV with his role as Dorian Gray in the horror TV series “Penny Dreadful,” will play the role of Riff Raff.
Laverne Cox shall take on the role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter while Staz Nair will star as Rocky Horror.
Whataya Want From Me was on Adam’s first album not his current one. No big deal, but thought I’d correct you. I love this guy and think he should be the biggest star in the world.
