If nothing else, at least the new engine models are going to make an interesting impression on the market, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see Mercedes coming out with even more models that feature those engines soon enough after that.
There have already been various rumors of what the company might be planning in the future, and while it’s probably too early to discuss that right now, it’s also interesting to see what direction the market will move in after some time has passed.
Mercedes are, after all, one of the trend setters in that market, so if the new E-Class proves successful, we expect to see various features of its design making their way to other companies and their own models. Of course, it won’t be a direct copying of the features but rather inspired designs, but the point will still stand.
In a while, we’re going to see what kind of an impact the 2017 E-Class is going to make on the market, but many fans of Mercedes have been hopeful that it will be a solid release and will have the necessary positive effect on the company’s operations, allowing them to gain an even more prominent position on the market and push the E-Class line further. There is a lot of potential in that line which Mercedes have been utilizing heavily, and they should definitely keep doing it.
