I don't understand why so many people were upset with ME3's ending. I thought it was a pretty decent end.

I know people were expecting some huge climactic battle where it's Shepard and his squad versus the Reapers, but that would basically mean rehashing the ending of the second game. Not to mention you're fighting the reapers throughout the whole game this time around.

I'm pretty sure most people are just upset that Shepard died for good this time around (sort of), but in my opinion that's the best possible ending. He died for his people, he died for his friends and allies. He gave everything so that people could live without the shadow of the reapers. Sometimes heroes die, but that just makes their message that much stronger.

As far as the "multiple endings issue" is concerned, it was already known that this was going to be the end of Shepard's story. There are really only so many adjustments to the final scenes they could make knowing this.

In the end I was satisfied with the ending to ME3, but more importantly I enjoyed the journey the games took me through.

If you wanna bitch about a story give Destiny a spin.
