I don’t mind at all that PES doesn’t have the licenses because they have the option to add the kits, names, stadiums etc to the game, sure it might seen like an incomplete game but that’s the way the PES series has always been since the SNES era so I understand why the series are not appealing to most people worldwide and this gets reflected in the sales.

As long as Konami continues to release PES games with good additions to the gameplay, I’ll be eager to try the next version of it. I don’t mind what EA does with the FIFA series, EA can even become more lazy and copypaste the previous version of their FIFA games if they want, add a new feature and release it as FIFA 18, 19 etc in the next FIFA games and they will still outsell Konami due to the licenses which i understand.

One of the important issues that Konami does not address and never will and it’s hurting the franchise in sales as well is their online servers which are crap. They still use P2P so you can expect a lot of cheating and laggy matches when playing online which I think, it’s an issue that is non existent in the FIFA games so is that as well.
