In reply to Devin R Lowe. Bulls**t. The redgurd trademark means nothing, since it was intented to be the name for one of the unreleased Skyrim DLCs. They renewed it, but didn't use it. Nevertheless TES 6 obviously IS under developement. After breathtaking Skyrim's success they wouldn't let the chance of hugging another millions of dollars to pass 'em by.

Elder Scrolls Online should never have been made. I can’t wait for a single-player sequel to Skyrim! In the meantime, I’ll play more Skyrim (with mods, because I’ve already played through the main quest three times) and Dragon Age Inquisition, which is the best of the Dragon Age games so far.

I think it’s going to come out in 2016 august or something. I really hope they release the game fast. if they don’t release the game until 2018 i will be worried about TES.

I completely agree, Drakulus. The only thing ESO is worthy of is sending me back to Skyrim. I’ll be patiently waiting for TES VI while I slowly run out of Skyrim mods. *Thumbs up*

It was never a total guarantee, but a chance that TES VI would’ve been teased at E3 this year.

Loads of immature people all over the Internet, claiming to also be Fallout “fans”, have actively shot down TES VI’s chances of being announced within these next couple of years with claims of a “0% chance”. It’s really annoying.

The thing is, it doesn’t even matter that Bethesda didn’t show TES VI this time at E3 2015. All it means is that they’re still working on that game.

Even better, the absence of any news of TES VI only means that Bethesda will spend at least one more year developing the game. The most sensible year of release for TES VI, when taking development patterns of past TES games into consideration, is sometime in 2017.

Skyrim took a little more than 5 years in total content-development time. TES VI will most likely take 6, and we’re already almost past the 4th year since Skyrim was finished and released back in 2011.

In short: Lack of announcement for TES VI this time should jade nobody. Good news is that TES veterans (including myself) KNOW it’s in development, due to the 2011 “Redguard” trademark.

The only thing ESO does is make me want to play Skyrim again. ESO is not a true Elder Scrolls game. It’s an Elder Scrolls Lite Edition.

Fallout 4 should hold me over until The Elder Scrolls VI comes out though.
