A team of superhero outcasts and misfits return for another round of fighting against alien, supernatural, and some human villains. Season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow is set to premiere on October 10 confirmed on the San Diego Comic Con where the trailer was first shown. Last season, the Legends have defeated their enemy and “broke” through time but run around endlessly to fix it. The trailer show an extinct creature, ruthless and primitive dinosaurs, touches down in the middle of Los Angeles through a plane.
The series is a spin-off show from Arrow and The Flash which crash. Perhaps, we could assume, they haven’t fully “fixed” time yet.
all exists in a same fictional DC Universe. The Legends is a team formed by Time Master, Rip Hunter, after his family was murdered by Vandal Savage. He recruited The Atom (Ray Palmer), White Canary (Sara Lance), Hawkgirl (Kendra Saunders), Hawkman (Carter Hall), Captain Cold (Leonard Snart), and Heat Wave (Mick Rory).
News that Wentworth Miller and Arthur Darvill, who previously was on the first season, will return as recurring guest stars and Neal McDonough is back as a regular in the series.
Tale Ashe, will play as Zari Adrianna Tomaz, a new addition introduced in the show. Of course, DC enthusiasts recognize her. But for those who are unfamiliar, Zari is a Muslim-American woman from the year 2030. She lives in a world full of contradictions.
While it’s important to fix time, she also wants to improve history so that probably means she won’t put back things together after encountering it in the past depending on her will. She became a “grey hat hacktivist” because of fear, prejudice and lack of care for the planet by the humans. She is living a double life and doesn’t realize she has secret, latent powers derived from an ancient, mystical source.
She is technologically savvy with a combative personality.
PT Barnum played by Billy Zane is recognized as a villain in the story. Although Phil Klemmer, showrunner of the show, insists, “ [PT Barnum], just a guy who wants to put on a good show.”
Highlights from the official synopsis for the third season released by The CW are that The Legends finding a way to return all the anachronisms, a scattering of people, animals and objects across time.
These anachronisms should return to their original timeline before the time stream falls apart. That is, if they’re used-to be leader, Rip Hunter would allow them. Rip established the Time Bureau who is the new sheriffs in town, The Legends disbanded. Until an event that included Mick Rory, Sara tries to form the team back together to challenge the Time Bureau’s authority over the timeline as some problems can only be fixed by The Legends.
The second season was said to be The CWs best show so far. Would the three-season curse affect the show? Based on the trailer and official plot, it promises a good future. If not, Rip Hunter and the heroes could go back in time and fix it, I suppose.
