Toyota has been releasing trucks to the marketplace for many years now and there are no signs that it plans to stop that process. Most of the larger trucks get great gas mileage and look pretty cool at the same time. The Toyota Tacoma was one of the trucks that offered plenty of room, places for your cargo, stylish look and good gas mileage. Toyota is revealing a new truck model called the 2015 Toyota Hilux and according to some of the reviews, more was expected.
The Hilux has been selling very well all over the world and the newest model is expected to take over where the 2014 model leaves off in a couple weeks. Like most models of cars and trucks these days, the Hilux will be available with more than one engine option, and that goes the same for the transmission. If you are in the market for a new truck, the 2015 Toyota Hilux offers you a 2.5L diesel, 3.5L diesel and a 4L V6 engine, all of which are promised with fuel efficiency in mind.
Toyota has not announced the amount of fuel the Hilux is going to use up at this time, but for consumers to even take a look at it, the truck should offer something close to 30MPG. No matter what the 2015 Toyota Hilux will offer, it should be better than the larger, more bulky RAM from Dodge. Toyota is releasing the Black Edition as well as the Hilux Facelift in case you want something that has more technology and high performance.
The 2015 Toyota Hilux looks to have more muscle in the design compared to the older models and the company claims that it will have the American pickup truck DNA infused throughout. This is going to come across to consumers as a truck that is not just easy to look at. The Black Edition of the 2015 Toyota Hilux is going to be limited to just 1,000. One reviewer noted that when test driving the truck for a week, he was stopped all of the time and asked about the truck. Questions like, how much does it cost? Where did you get the body kit? Is the truck for sale at this time?
The white Black Edition comes with base price of just $55,900 and that comes with an automatic transmission. If you actually want the Black Edition painted “black”, you will be looking at another $550 for that option. The reviewers said that the smaller pickup truck did everything that it was supposed to do, but they felt that it was not leaving a standard like previous models from Toyota have done before.

These trucks are as tough as nails but compared to the aussie designed Ford Ranger and VW Amarok they are about 3 years behind the times in technology, abilities both on and offroad, mechanically and highly overpriced. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere till about 2017 when the all new model will debut.
